Our family was in desperate need of some new family pictures and since we are to cheap to pay for professional's we went the next best route. Brian's dad followed us up in the mountains on the rzr and took some great pictures. Being in the outdoors just fits our family! Thanks Alan!

Gracie has a super fun birthday. We had a quick party and then she had her first dance recital that night. The one BIG plus to the hectic day was that she had TONS of family there to watch her dance. I know the pictures are not really great, I am still trying to figure out the lighting with the camera.

This was her costume for the America dance but my pictures were all really dark. The flowers were from Aunt Tricia and Uncle Erik for her first performance. She loved it and is looking forward to doing it again next year. We have also enrolled our little Halle in dance and I have to say I am nervous as heck about what she will do. We will try and see though. She has one more performance for a school assembly on Tues and is super excited. Good job Grace and thanks to her special teacher Angela. Dancing can be fun!

Gracie's Mermaid cake. Yes that is saran wrap on the mermaid. When you pay $20.00 for a silly barbi I don't want the clothes stained and ruined. Gracie loved this cake. She loves even more that they have a barbi house and pool to play in. Happy birthday Gracie!
Gid's Monster truck cake. This was actually one of my fav cakes I have ever done. Super easy and super cute. In fact both cakes were so so easy but maybe that is because I am comparing them to Halle's pain in the butt cake. Happy Birthday Gid!
Last week the kids graduated from preschool. They are so excited for kindergarten! They learned so much in school this year from their awesome teachers.

Gid getting spotlighted by Mrs Rosaline. His spotlight said "Gid is a great team member. He is very respectful of Grace and of all people. He gives respect and he gets respect back. Gid is mellow and calm. He doesn't get riled up over tiny things and rolls easily with the punches. I can't think of a time that I've seen him upset. Gid is steady. He sticks to a job until it is done and he's particular that the job is done right, even if it means taking a little extra time. Doing a job well is important to Gid."
Grace: Grace is part of a very co-operative team. Gid is her team partner. With twins, it's hard to talk about them seperatly, but these two children are very individual. Grace is comfortable in her own skin. She is confident in her choices. She has a good sense of right and wrong. She is diligent in her work at school. Grace is very teachable and oopen to new ideas. If there's a better way to do something, she'll take the better way. Congratulations Gid and Grace
I was outside vaccuming the van the other day and it started to rain. I turned around to grab everything and run into the house and came face to face (literally 2 feet) with this turkey walking on the porch. Scared the crap out of me.
