Get along

Have you ever been so frustrated with your children that you want to pull your hair out?  That is how I have felt many times with Gid and Hal.  They have so much in common yet they can't be nice to each other at all.  I decided to try this and see if it helped!

Totally worked!   Gid thought it was hilarious for the first 5 minutes.  Halle not so much.  She was ticked from the start.   Their first job in working together and getting along was to set the table.  After 10 minutes of Gid dragging Halle around and Halle screaming she was choking they started to work together (Since they had been told that if they did not they would remain in the shirt).  Imagine how funny it was for the rest of us to see how they ate in it!  We had a great time and after 1 hour they got out.  Needless to say it has been almost 2 weeks and they are getting along splendidly!  If they stop all I have to do is threaten to pull out the shirt and they quit fighting!  Highly recommend!

First day of school 2016

Halle and her first day of 3rd Grade.  She got Mrs. Thornley and is way excited!

All 4 cuties.  We cant forget our Gabbi Girl!

Gracie on her first day of 5th grade.  She got Mr. D and is way excited to be upstairs and get a locker!

The kids had to run the track already this year and Halle did awesome!  She got a time of 10:24.  She got 3rd in her class and was the 1st girl to cross the finish line.  She loves being outside!

Such a handsome boy this kid is.  He also got Mr. D and is way excited to have a boy teacher for the first time ever 

Gid and Grace were neck in neck the whole mile but Gid ended up beating her in the end.  He took 3rd in the class and He had a time of 8:54.

Grace did awesome and she took 5th in the class.  She had a time of 9:02!

Football 2016

This year Gid played his 2nd year of football.  He loves it and plays tight end and linebacker.  He is much more aggressive and is so cute in his uniform but luckily he still likes baseball better.  He is the cute number 6

Random

It is official.  The kids have their dad's eyes.  The oldsest 3 now all have glasses.

Halle turned 8 and got her ears pierced.  She was super nervous but refused to admit it.

This year we had two waterslides.  Gabbi went down the one Grandma and Grandpa Taylor rented and was petrified.

The girl is not even two and really rides the scooter.  She amazes me everyday.

We headed to peach days so Gabbi could have her caracture drawn.  It turned out super cute.

She is potty training.  In two weeks she has peed 21 times.  She is amazing.

For scouts Gid had to make a "mouse house" out of random items.  I think he did awesome. His had two tire swings, stairs and water slide and a pool.  oh, and a satellite dish.

Gabbi was surprised one day by a visit from Grandpa Ariel who made her a baby high chair which she just loves.  So glad we know such talented people!

Grandma Blauer bought the kids a ginger bread house this year.  They really enjoyed making and decorating it.

Gabbi fell into a box and could not get out.  Cracked us up.

Our cute Gabbi is treated as a doll around our house and she takes it pretty well.  The girls LOVE to dress her up and make her pretty!  These are some of the funny outfits they have come up with lately.
