Go Gid!

Gid has been playing soccer and is having so much fun. He still has the "deer in the headlights" look quite a bit but we saw him come out a little bit more when his coach asked him if he would like to play goalie. He loved it. He saved 4 points from scoring! This is one of the things he really likes to practice with mom in the back yard. I don't know if he is more comfortable because there are less people around him or what but I think he did just awesome and was really proud of him!

He did it all with he sun in his face. What a darling little guy he is. He is so helpful and shares so much with his sisters. I love that he is making new friends and having fun in kindergarten. He is learning so much and is LEARNING to enjoy reading (he is so much like his dad). Gotta love them both!

Dance!

Grace and Halle have started dance again..well Grace has. This is Halle's first year. This is after her first dance class with cousins Chloe and Harley.
This is Sarah, Angela (their teacher's) little girl. This is what she did while everyone else danced. To stinking cute.

She is just loving dance and when it is over for the day she is upset because "a week is a long time mom". Grace is loving dance and has already learned one of her 3 dances. It is a rapunzel dance. Halle can't stop talking about her Strawberry Shortcake dance. Fun times. Plus a side note, mom is ok with this. I love watching the girls love to do this. I can give up the jock!

More Misc.....

I have been able to go into Gid and Grace's kindergarten each week to help in focus group. It has been fun and Shari and I have been trading days to watch Ryker and Halle. Ryker has been so much fun to watch. He is always happy and smiling. He loves to play with Hal and Ride on the 4-wheeler with Gid.

A few weeks ago Gid got to go play with Grandpa Ariel after school. That was the highlight of his month. Ariel came to drop him off later in this dune buggy. Gid thought it was so cool he wanted to get rid of our rzr and get one.

West Side had a fund raiser the other day for a school field trip. Each kid collected pledges for each lap they run and then collect the money to go for the trip. Gid and Grace both earned $45.00 each. They ran 5 laps. I thought that was good but did not have them do more as we had to get Gid to Preston for soccer pictures and he had to play a game. I was right proud of them. This picture is of Ryker doing his laps. What a fun kid.

Gid was a little nervous about doing this until Cousin O got there. Owen and Gid hung out the whole time and did tons of running. Owen did 3 miles this day. Way to go bud!

Gid has started soccer. He is loving it and improving tons each week. He loves his coach and has several buddies on his team.

Merry Christmas to Me! And an extra

Check out our new clothes line! Brian's parents gave it to us! I just love it. I enjoy laundry much more now! Hanging out laundry has helped me cut 14 dollars off our our monthly power bill! Woo Hoo!

Slip and slide

We had so much fun on Grandpa Ariel and Grandma Nett's slide. I was the designated picture takler. If you think what I posted is a lot you should see what I did not post. Brian, Erik and Chad kept racing down the slide and trying to make huge splashes to get Colby wet (he was the other designated picture taker). Must have been the noise thundering down the hill because they did not ever get him.
Chad kept "surfing"down the slide. This is the best picture I got of him in the mist of a fall.
