Halle can write her first and last name! Pretty good for 3 1/2 yrs old!
Gracie got her first perm and loves it!
Bop has his first loose tooth. He really wants candy from the tooth fairy. I thought she brought money?
We had an early birthday party for Lisa (and Trav, even though he did not want it). I made this way fun rainbow cake. I got the idea from a good friend Audrie and it turned out awesome if I do say so myself. The inside was my fav and Lisa was pretty surprised when I cut into it. This cake may have been my fav that I have ever done (and was super easy).

Halle was upset with me just now for using blue so we had to change to purple. These two are so dang cute and play well (now).
Halle got to go to Gid and Gracie's kindergarten party with me to do a game. It was dress up day so she dressed up also. She was so excited to meet Mrs. Koller and see the kids class.
Enough already mom.
I pay so much attention to details. After I posted this I noticed Gracie has her "don't do drugs" ribbon on, Gid's jacket is not done up and Halle is totally loosing her skirt. Oh well. We did a lot of the same costumes this year as last. Gotta get the most out of the fireman outfit and Gracie just loves Pippi Longstocking plus with her red hair it just works awesome. Halle wanted to be a ballerina and since I did not have to buy anything for that it worked so awesome. Love cheap costumes.

MOOSE HUNTING.....OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet you can't tell from the number of exclamation marks on this post that I am super excited that hunting season is over! It has been a long 2 months once elk got over it was on to moose for the boys! Alan drew out for a moose this year and he got a good one! Gid was so excited to be there for it!

Again with Grandpa. The video was hilarious because when Brian and Alan went down to make sure that the moose was dead and Chad was filming it the moose (which Brian and Alan were yanking on) was moving and Gid about crawled up Chad's leg because the moose was still alive. He was a happy boy though when he called to tell me they got a moose.
The happy hunter! You can only kill a moose every 65 years. I am glad they had fun but I know me and two other wives that are way excited to have husbands again!

Big girl Halle!

Our little Halle bug is a big girl and riding a big girl bike. She is riding without training wheels at 3 1/2 years old! I was way excited because it was her idea and the girl mastered the whole thing in 10 minutes. After that we did not even run on the side of her anymore. She is so awesome! We are proud of her and she was right proud of herself and kept passing Gid and Gracie saying "look at me".
Halle was also fun because I taught Gid and Grace to ride their bikes. Halle started with me and then wanted her daddy to help her. I just stood back and took pictures!

and she's off! She is awesome in the parking lot with nothing to get in her way. She would get a little close to the curb and kinda freak out and yell "daddy, daddy". Brian would yell for her to turn and she would listen and do it. I guess it never occured to her to just turn, but we got a kick out of it.
Just so dang cute.
All alone. I am not joking when I say this took her 10 minutes. She learned so fast and even when she crashed she just jumped back up and got on.
What a big girl. So proud of you Halle!

We were eating lunch today and Gracie said to me "Mom, I know who the first person to live on the earth was".

Halle: (with her hand waving in the air). I know, it's GRANDMA CORBRIDGE!

From the mouth of Hal

We have been reading the scriptures and they have mentioned "Captain Gid" and words like "from the Grace of god." a couple of weeks later Halle and I were playing LDS bingo when Halle drew the "scripture" card she turned to me and said "Hey mom, how come it says Gid and Grace in the scriptures but not Halle? I guess it is true they do listen during scriptures more than I think they do.

As another funny story we had Becki and Hogan up to play the other day. Hal and Hogan just LOVE to play together. I heard them go into my bedroom and thought I heard the door lock. About 5 minutes later it was very quiet so I went down to see what they were doing and could not get in so I yelled at Halle to open the door. I heard very faintly her talking and thought they had walked out through my bedroom door and onto the deck and had locked themselves outside. I went out to see and they were not outside so I went back to the bedroom door and yelled at Halle again "Halle where are you guys". The answer was faint again "mom, we are locked in your closet and can't get out." My closet has a door knob on the outside of the closet but not the inside because Brian built me a framed mirror on the whole length of the inside of the closet door. They somehow had shut themselves into the closet without a knob and had no way of getting out. I was laughing so hard as I had to use a toothpick to unlock the bedroom door and get them out of the closet. When we got it open they had lined up most of Bri's shoes and made a parade while they were waiting. Funny little farts.

Go Gid!

Gid has been playing soccer and is having so much fun. He still has the "deer in the headlights" look quite a bit but we saw him come out a little bit more when his coach asked him if he would like to play goalie. He loved it. He saved 4 points from scoring! This is one of the things he really likes to practice with mom in the back yard. I don't know if he is more comfortable because there are less people around him or what but I think he did just awesome and was really proud of him!

He did it all with he sun in his face. What a darling little guy he is. He is so helpful and shares so much with his sisters. I love that he is making new friends and having fun in kindergarten. He is learning so much and is LEARNING to enjoy reading (he is so much like his dad). Gotta love them both!
