Clip up chart.......silly girls.

In first grade they have clip up charts for good and bad behavior.  There are rewards and consequences and each kid has a clothes pin with their name on it.  Your try and get to the top of the chart each day.  I went into the girls room this morning and found this hanging on the wall.  The girls made a "clip up" chart for their dolls.  These were the words they chose

great job
redie (ready) to learn
mean day
bad day
very very bad day
perint (parent) contact

as you can see there is a "lillie" and "repunzel" on mean day.  They must not have been very nice.  Made me smile.  Such creative girls we have.

Merry Christmas!

We had a way fun Christmas.  We had our annual Taylor Christmas Eve party and this year we did it at the Fire Station.  We had yummy food and played minute to win it games.  It was so much fun and the kids had a blast.  Cute little Hannah enjoying her food.

The cookie game.  You start with the cookie on your forhead and try and wiggle it with your face and get it to your mouth.

Brian is the only one who mastered this game but I was laughing so hard at his facial movements I missed where he actually got it in his mouth.

Present opening.  Gracie got a new Barbi from Harley that had a cute little Tankie dog.  She loved it.

Halle got her number one request-her Dora couch.  She was pretty worried when she did not find it right away.

We made these cute little stars with baby Jesus on them for our sunbeam class.  Gid and Grace liked them so much they made one also.  Thanks to my mom for such a way fun idea.

Tank even got in on the action.  He loves Christmas.

We got to have cute Hogan and Reddick come and spend the night.  We had so much fun with them.  Brian pulled the kids with a sled behind the RZR.  They had so much fun but I was laughing so hard at Gid and Hogan I forgot to take any pictures of them on the sled.  At one point Gid fell off the sled and Hogan stayed on.  Gid was running to catch up to the sled and get back on but every time he got close Brian would take off again.  After about 3 times of this Gid decided to tackle Hogan off the sled so Brian would stop and let him on.  So dang funny.

The kids got a new 4-wheeler for christmas.  It was a huge hit.  They did a scavenger hunt for it and I think Halle got at least 8 of the 12 clues.  She listened really well (now if we could just get her to listen to her mom).  Gid is the only one that will drive it.  Gracie is still a little nervous and we are just kinda thankful Halle has not asked to drive it yet.  Who knows what would happen.

All Caught Up!

 As of today I am officially caught up on my blog.  Some of these are so long ago it is silly I am posting it but things I really want to remember.  The top picture is our Spuds softball team after we won the championship this year.  We have our whole team there minus Brian (who thought hunting was way more important) and Jessie (who was taking the picture and expecting two darling little girls).  We had so much fun and are looking forward to next year. 

 The next two pictures are of Fred being a great sport and letting Gracie do her hair.   WOW.

Santa called Brian and said he was in Alco and wanted to see the kids.  We jumped in the car and went over.  Halle even went to him when she was called by name (a first).  When they got done the kids all asked if that was Uncle Kelly.  What to you think?

We got to go up to Park City again and stay in the Stein Erickson Lodge again.  This time Brian was able to come with us.  We had so much fun.  We stayed two nights and since we knew we had our own private hot tub we took swim suits.  The kids had SO much fun.

We left to go shopping and housekeeping came in and arranged all our hair supplies like this.  We had to laugh.  We also had two people come into our room at 9:30 at night when the kids were asleep and we were in bed.  They came to bring us a mint, bottled water and turn down our beds.  Um, Awkward.

Cute Halle and Big Bird Hogan.  Grandma Blauer found this yellow dance outfit with leggings in her dress up stuff.  She brought it for Gracie and Halle but Hog like it to.  I love this kid.  He always cracks me up.  I also just love to post these pics of him to annoy his dad.   

It feels good to be caught up.  Maybe I can post Christmas before July 1 this year.  Hope everyone has a a fun holiday.
